Samuel Conrad Mason aka Samms


SAMMS PLUS is an iniative of Samuel Conrad Mason aka Samms, a Grenadian by birth, a Citizen of Barbados and a Caribbean National.

Samms holds a degree in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, Mona , Jamaica, an M.Sc  in Food Technoogy, Food Quality Control from the National College of Food Technology, University of Reading, England and a Diploma in Chocolate and Sugar Confectionery, Richardson Researches, Haywood, Californa.

He has had additional training in Food Technology and related aspects as he has attended a number of courses through his employment as Produce Chemist, Ministry of Agriculture, Grenada and Co-ordinator, Appropriate Technology Centre, and Co-ordinatror, Regional Development Programe, Caribbean Conference of Churches (CCC)   These included attendance and participation in:

1. An International course in Food Technology, Australia, (13 weeks)

2. A CIDA Sponsored Course in Technology Transfer, Jamica, 

3. An attachment at the Tropical Products Institute, London (4 1/2 mths)

SAMMS Plus includes all the individuals and entities who share its vision and are supportive and/or involved in its activities in one way or another and are deemed associates.
